Lawrence has a Bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from UC Berkeley. Professionally, Lawrence has served as an Informatics Specialist, contributing to California’s COVID-19 response at the California Department of Public Health.
Lawrence’s passion for coaching stemmed from his own experience of applying to college, where he had little support in navigating the application process. He looks forward to the opportunity to make this process easier for Quad applicants, turning a daunting process into a manageable one. Lawrence is excited to work as a team with students; however, the heavy lifting is on them: At the end of the process, he wants Quad applicants to feel accomplished from all of their hard work!
Lawrence’s greatest strength as a coach is project management; he helps students and parents by breaking down the daunting task of applying to college into digestible pieces, creating a time-bound and manageable undertaking. He also excels at helping students recognize their strengths and convey them in their application materials.
Applicants Lawrence has recently coached have gotten accepted into several top-tier universities, including UC Berkeley, Northwestern University, and The University of Michigan.
In his spare time, Lawrence enjoys reading, hiking, camping, swimming, and learning new programming tools.
With over twelve years of experience in higher education, Anthony is au fait with the admissions process. Anthony has served as an admissions reader for UC Berkeley. Additionally, he was also an Admissions Counselor at Syracuse University, Assistant Direct of Admissions at University of Richmond, and Assistant Director of Admissions at Earlham College. He has interviewed prospective students, overseen diversity recruitment, and rendered both scholarship and admissions decisions. These experiences have allowed Anthony to gain a strong understanding of what admissions officers are looking for and in turn, what candidates can do to make themselves stand out.
As a coach, Anthony strives to empower his students, ensuring they make an informed decision on which college to attend. Anthony is aware of challenges and hurdles in the admissions process and works diligently with students to overcome them. Anthony feels that every student has a unique story to tell and helps students identify their unique strengths and weaknesses, allowing their individual voices to shine through. He loves helping students navigate the entire application process: from building college lists to crafting personal statements to preparing for the interview, Anthony’s goal is to be with Quad applicants every step of the way.
Outside of Quad, Anthony enjoys singing, playing piano, and traveling.
Anthony’s Pro Tip?
You must constantly learn and unpack the things that prevent you from succeeding.
Kyndall has earned a Bachelor's degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Kyndall has served as a Princeton Alumni Interviewer, interviewing prospective students and providing evaluation notes to the admissions committee. Additionally, she has experience delivering course curricula in an ed-tech startup designed for high school students to build compelling narratives when applying to Ivy League schools and the UC system.
Kyndall's coaching style is focused on helping students identify and develop their authentic passions, goals, and voice. As a first-generation college student, she understands students' challenges and is committed to demystifying the admissions process. Her approach involves active and empathetic listening, challenging assumptions and presumptions, holding people accountable, and making hard work fun.
One of her greatest learnings as part of the Princeton admissions team has been the importance of authenticity in the admissions process. She understands that students often feel pressure to present themselves in a certain way to impress admissions committees, but she believes that it's essential for students to feel comfortable being themselves in interviews and presenting themselves holistically.
By building this space for authenticity, Kyndall has helped many students successfully navigate the admissions process and gain acceptance to their dream schools, including Harvard University, Columbia University, Princeton University, Brown University, UPenn, UC Berkeley, and USC.
In her spare time, Kyndall enjoys staying active through activities such as dance, yoga, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
